Unit 15 New Mexico

Put in for Unit 15 in New Mexico this year but did not draw, any one draw this or buy landowner tags and hunt this year? How did you do, what type of country did you hunt? Is it worth trying again next year seems to be a hard tag to draw with NM having NO perfrence points system.

This is a great unit to draw. Some of my buds had a great hunt in that area. Alot of Pinon and Juniper country but depends on what you like . You can hunt all the way up to the aspens. Good access on forest roads but depends on which season you want to hunt. All of NM is a hard draw but just have to keep trying. 16s are just a hop skip and a jump away. so look into them on your other choices.

Looked into unit 16's and the draw odds are even worst, just thought I would try to better my odds, although 16's seem to have better quality.
