Unguided Caribou 2027

Anyone have some recommendations for an Alaska caribou hunt for 4 guys? I have read some of the threads and researched a few outfitters/transporters but wanted some feedback from the Hunttalk brain trust. We are targeting the Northern Brooks Range on an unguided drop camp rifle hunt in 2027 but are open to other options. I think we are trying to avoid the Tundra/swamps.

Thoughts or recommendations for a outfitter/transporters?

Caribou country is full of Tundra/swamps. The Bou are aslo high up in the mountains, escaping bugs. I look toward mountain caribou.

Have you done any research on 40 Mile Air? Different area than Ram Aviation operates.

No we have not. We ended up already pulling the trigger on Ram air. Have you used 40 mile air? What was your experience?

ha that would have been cool to overlap but we chose to go Aug 14th-25th, 2027. I wanted the first or second week of September for the hard horns but others in my group wanted to go earlier. Don't forget a wolf tag they are cheap. Wolverine tag is more expensive so I will skip that one.
