Twisted

Hey Guys, need some advice:
I've got a Herters, 62", 60# laminated recurve with a twisted upper limb.
I've been told it's possible to straighten a twisted limb, but it's something I've never done. Have any of you ever straightened a twisted limb, do you have any suggestions, or know where I can get info about it?

Randall, might want to try and see what they have to say at www.tradbow.com. they are all about traditionals over there.

Go to Tradgang.com and then go to the Pow Wow forum. Then do a search of that forum by typing in twisted limb . Lots of good advice... I would stay away from any method that requires much if any heat. You can usually bring a limb back by stringing and then twisting the limb in the opposite direction....best done with two people as its difficult to hold the string in the grove.
