Tundra or Another F-150

Hands down Tundra, pre 2019 get the factory trans cooler. Tundras are the most American made truck.... F150"s are Mexican trucks. A Tundra with 200,000 miles is still younger than a F150 at 75,000 miles. No comparison in reliability and longevity.

Tundra might or might not be the better truck depending if it has a v8 or not. However …

Ford F-150 trucks are assembled at two main U.S. plants: the Dearborn Truck Plant in Dearborn, Michigan (part of the historic Rouge Complex, which also handles the electric F-150 Lightning), and the Kansas City Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Missouri (near Kansas City). These facilities produce various trims, including gasoline, hybrid, and electric models, using advanced manufacturing for high-volume output—like over 1,000 trucks daily at the Missouri plant. While some components come from suppliers in North America (including Canada and Mexico), final assembly happens only at these U.S. sites. You can check a specific truck’s origin via its VIN (11th digit indicates the plant).

I have been enjoying my F150. Aluminum helps with the corrosion concerns.

Also I like the features of the f150 better. Fuel tank size, differential choices, etc
My F-150 get 24 mpg on the freeway. My issue is that with my Yamaha 450 in the bed and a 18’ trailer im over the max cargo weight. My max weight is 8300. How much is a Tundra 4x4

How Much Can the Toyota Tundra Tow?
The Toyota Tundra has a maximum towing capacity of up to 12,000 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of up to 1,940 pounds, with the exact figures depending on the specific trim and configuration. For example, the SR5 trim with the i-FORCE engine has a max towing capacity of 12,000 pounds, while the SR trim can have a maximum payload of up to 1,940 pounds.

I am also test driving a Nissan Titan 4WD. The Tundra and Titan both seem to have better towing capacity than the Ford F150 and the F150 comes with a bigger price tag too so I am leaning towards the Titan then the Tundra. My wife has health issues so riding comfort is important. Gonna take her on a few test drives then decide which ones to buy. Both vehicles I am looking at have bucket seats that adjust up and down and back and forth plus leaning back. Perfect for long trips.

I have no idea. Use Google I don't own a tundra and I'm not your assistant

So the 1940 lbs would be the Total weight of passengers fluids tongue weight when towing and any cargo in the truck bed. Towing weight would just be the max weight of trailer

It actually costs extra to get rid of the start/stop feature on the new Fords.
Biggest headache on my new truck. I hate that. I cannot see how it supposedly saves gas mileage, but I can see how it is hard on the engine and the transmission. I'm still getting used to the automatic headlights as well, although I dont complain to much about the headlights because the dims on the new truck are brighter than the brights and a lightbar were on my old Ford.

I've gotten used to it. If it sits for a while the battery goes down enough to not allow the start/stop to work due to "battery charging". When it's working I don't know just how much fuel it saves by shutting off at a stoplight. My biggest issue with it is I'm a gearhead. When the light turns green, that means GO. There is a lag between taking your foot off the brake and when it refires. I'm usually on the gas by then. I have to remind myself not to hit it and wait just a second. As far as the headlights, I've never used the auto function. I always turn the knob by hand when I need lights.
