Trying new rifles this season

I've had an xbolt 300 WSM stainless stalker for a long time that has been good to me. Haven't looked at brownings in a long time though. Dont seem to be as prevalent in scheels and the like anymore?

Not a complete necessity, other than Mrs. Fin put her foot down in 2018 and said we will not sink any more of our personal money into this operation. What she tolerated until that point was so far beyond what was reasonable, I sometimes wonder how it is that I'm still married.

Without that revenue, I either fund this operation out of my own pocket like I did for the first ten years (no longer an option), or we have fewer resources to produce the money-draining conservation and advocacy content (the content that gets me most enthused), or we have less revenue to keep money-losing platforms going, with Hunt Talk being the most unprofitable of our platforms. If I want to have platforms that can produce the advocacy content that gets me excited to drive to work each morning and creates communities of people who will engage in our important issues, revenue is a necessity to fund that.

Hope that makes sense.

Knowing you would never endorse anything that sucks, I'm rooting for whichever endorsement partner best helps the mission of HT, and by extension most benefits public lands and PL hunting. In other words, I hope you fall out of a life raft and land in a yacht on this deal.

@Mallardsx2 is laser in your laser beam a factor of the Ballistic Optimizing Shooting System?

Beats me man. I set it to where it said the "Sweet spot" is and I never moved it.

It does make it loud as hell however it does a great job of reducing recoil.

That rifle stacks bullets at 100 yards so I never touched it.

Does this mean we can anticipate a bunch of mint howa's in .308/7mm-08's hitting the classifieds? Just a lowly old browning owner trying to plan for Christmas lol.
