Trijicon Credo HX

I got turned onto these by @morgaj1 about a year ago and now have three or four plus a TenMile. They are a great bang-for-the-buck at MSRP, so this a screaming deal.
This is good to hear. I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on a credo. I’ve been torn between it and a nightforce SHV.
I want a durable scope and I’ve heard good things about these.

I'm pretty sure I could pound railroad spikes with mine and it would shake it off.

Is there any major difference between credo and credo HX?

Crosshairs come close enough for me that I'd be comfortable using it at close-ish ranges, even if I couldn't see the dot perfectly. The illuminated reticle makes that kind of moot though.
The reticle was my one complaint with the one I sold to @Potsie and probably should have kept. Just felt a little busy and fine for hunting in the timber. I am unapologetically Fuddy with my preferred simple scoped though, and I will happily admit it.

That scope with a plain old duplex or heavier mil dot would be about perfect.

The plain old duplex seems to be fading away. My preferred reticle. mtmuley

Yeah, it can be a little busy but it is a precision scope after all. There are a couple Credo models with a straight duplex and the Accupoint line has some heavy MOA dot reticles. I’m a Trijicon convert.

Working out perfect for my .22-250.
