This is good to hear. I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on a credo. I’ve been torn between it and a nightforce SHV.I got turned onto these by @morgaj1 about a year ago and now have three or four plus a TenMile. They are a great bang-for-the-buck at MSRP, so this a screaming deal.
I like the credo better than the shvThis is good to hear. I’m getting ready to pull the trigger on a credo. I’ve been torn between it and a nightforce SHV.
I want a durable scope and I’ve heard good things about these.

Seems to be the consensus. Gotta love thatI'm pretty sure I could pound railroad spikes with mine and it would shake it off.
Crosshairs come close enough for me that I'd be comfortable using it at close-ish ranges, even if I couldn't see the dot perfectly. The illuminated reticle makes that kind of moot though. What is the MOA Center Dot reticle like in the field/woods?
Zero issues with mine. Though I’m not hunting deep woods. They do come with illumination if that was an issuesWhat is the MOA Center Dot reticle like in the field/woods?
Same.I like the credo better than the shv
Credo is a little more tactical oriented (mil reticle, flatter finish) and HX slightly more toward the hunter (MOA reticle, brighter finish). Is there any major difference between credo and credo HX?
The reticle was my one complaint with the one I sold to @Potsie and probably should have kept. Just felt a little busy and fine for hunting in the timber. I am unapologetically Fuddy with my preferred simple scoped though, and I will happily admit it.Crosshairs come close enough for me that I'd be comfortable using it at close-ish ranges, even if I couldn't see the dot perfectly. Gotcha, thanks!Credo is a little more tactical oriented (mil reticle, flatter finish) and HX slightly more toward the hunter (MOA reticle, brighter finish).
The plain old duplex seems to be fading away. My preferred reticle. mtmuleyThe reticle was my one complaint with the one I sold to @Potsie and probably should have kept. That scope with a plain old duplex or heavier mil dot would be about perfect.
Yeah, it can be a little busy but it is a precision scope after all. There are a couple Credo models with a straight duplex and the Accupoint line has some heavy MOA dot reticles. Thanks for posting. Bought one to put on a 300wm.
