i’m going to attempt fleshing for the first time pretty soon. Hoping i don’t screw it up too bad.I can't tell y'all how much I hate fleshing raccoons.
I've never tried using a pressure washer I'll have to try it.i’m going to attempt fleshing for the first time pretty soon. Hoping i don’t screw it up too bad.
I might try using a power washer on a low quality skin to see if it works. I’ve seen several people use that method. Otherwise ill do it the old fashioned way.
Report back on the pressure washer trick please. I’ve seen a ton of videos but in those they seem to be using the highest pressure which makes me think (like you said) would have to be really really careful.i’m going to attempt fleshing for the first time pretty soon. I bet the coons will stay pretty active in your warm weather this year!Trapping around here as been abysmal with the March-like weather. Granted, I’ve only been after otters. I got a few muskrats but there just hasn’t been anything moving through. Might have to switch to coons soon.
They’re running around everywhere right now. Not my favorite to trap (I love water trapping) but the pheasants and turkeys sure appreciate it, so I’ll gladly do it.I bet the coons will stay pretty active in your warm weather this year!
Kinda why I’m doing it now too, for the pheasants, turkeys, and other birds. Not really able to be setup for skinning and fleshing anything right now. They’re running around everywhere right now.
