A quick question two weeks I setup a Tactacam 3.0 cellular trail camera in an area with limited cell signal. I only had two bars on my camera. I walked in front of the camera to test it and I never received any pictures. After a few days I realized it wasnt setup correctly and wasnt sending pictures.
I call the help line in MN and the lady said she could tell the camera didnt have a SD card installed. Which is strange bc I put a brand new larger SD card into the slot.
My question is will it still take photos and save them to the SD card over the last few weeks? Im going to hunt this spot opening day anyhow based on the abundant fresh elk sign, and Im going to pull the camera this Friday before the rifle season. It would be great if it took some photos.
I appreciate any guidance.

My Tactacam Pro 3.0 models come with the ability to store a volume of pics on the camera's internal storage, presumably even without the optional SD card installed. So you probably will have some there, even if the card was the wrong type, or not inserted properly, or stolen. I'm just not sure how exactly you go about viewing them, since I've not run them without a card.
As for not getting the pics sent to you: (assuming you have a subscription in place) In your App - under Account - do you have things all set up properly there?

I appreciate it. I just inserted the SD card and turned it on. So hopefully it captures some pictures. And hopefully they are stored on the SD card. I paid for the subscription, but I think it was working at home bc I had wifi. Thanks
