I was more curious than anything. This area of the Oregon cascades in thinly populated with elk and most of the bulls I get pics of are pretty scrubby. I don't really chase the numbers but this bull really struck me as out of place. Ironically, I shot a cow in Idaho that very same morning almost exactly the time this pic was recorded. Makes ya think "what if"?

That's what I was thinking. His was the only pic that day. I did have pics of cows and smaller bulls in the days prior to and after that but he seemed to be wandering solo.
