Seems like just yesterday I was loading my little buddy (oldest son) into my pick up and off we'd go on some type of adventure outdoors. Here he is on one of many coyote hunting forays.

If it wasn't hunting or fishing I found myself on the side lines watching him in baseball, soccer, and football games. Here he is more than just a little bored in center field. Cracks me up everytime I look at it.

Here he is on his first fishing trip with me. I guess he must have had a good enough time as he still likes to fish.

He still likes to fish, but my how time flies and things change. He came up and visited me this weekend as he needed a break from college. He's half way through school and definitely no longer my little boy. He's a man now and a darn good one at that. He's gone from little fishing buddy to friend. If you want to see how things went while he was up here and our latest fishing trip follow the link: http://onyourownadventures.com/hunttalk/showthread.php?t=256378
May you all be so lucky to have great kids.

Love the Mickey Mouse camo pattern. They do grow up fast, too fast. Work seemed to take all my time for many years and I didn't take my kids on enough hunting and fishing adventures, so congrats for doing it right. Now, I'm trying to fix my errant ways and hunt with them more.

Time does fly! They're grown and gone before you know it. All you can do is spend that time with them as much as you can and then they'll spend time with you later. Great pics by the way! You can tell you have spent quality outdoor time with him!

I'm actually hunting as I type with my 19 year old daughter on a four day deer hunting trip. She took time off work to make the trip with me. That means alot to me!

Time lapse velocity increases exponentially the older you become. Fortunately, exponential joy is the reward if we're lucky.

....joy squared;

Awesome! I took my oldest son hunting last year and he loved it. Nothing like sharing the great outdoors with your kids.
