I've never had an octane level issue in Co.

Last year after leaving Iowa I could only get 87. The bike pinged a lot till I was able to get 93 back in her.

Sounds like you'll be headed out right about the time I get back. I'm working a couple projects in MI and IL and most likely won't be home until the 30th.

There are some good rides I can suggest, between Boulder and Golden, but keep your head on a swivel, a motorcycle cop was killed not to long ago on that stretch.

Deer Trail is a good ride, watch out for the cyclist.

Im solo. I prefer it. Denver is not as bad as DC or Chicago. Thinking of riding Pikes peak one day.

Solo definitely has it's it's benefits. I guess it's what you're accustomed to but Denver traffic last August was pretty bad..and I was in a Suburban.

Got a pic of a buck with al his girls. He is nice infront of my brother in-law home. There a 2 nice mulies running around also. I wish I could bow hunt here.

On point 1, thats for sure. You gotta watch out for the cagers on their phones..

Point 2, definitely do it!! Take 24 all the way back over to 285 then down into Golden!! but watch out for deer!

I'll be seeing more the west. Plans have changed I'll be leaving Denver for the Grand Canyon and places thereabouts and then heading up to Sturgis. I met a guy named Mike last year writing from Iowa to Sturgis he contacted me and asked me if I wanted to do a Grand Canyon ride once he found out I was in Denver seems like a good things to do. so Monday I take off for the Grand Canyon.
