Wouldn't be surprised if he is holed up in a cabin in the area or maybe an old abandoned mine. Pretty much closed down the whole Icicle Creek area. Hopefully they will find him soon, big country to hide in. Heard the alert to be on the watch for the girls Friday and then it was canceled with no explanation until the late news, pretty sad that someone would do that.

The authorities suspect he is using the PCT to get to the west side of the state, hmmmm.
He was a long way from the PCT and it would take him north or south, but in their defense, there are trails off the PCT that would lead west. Don't think that I would want to traverse the North Cascades at this time of year, may still be a bit snowy.
