Another post got me thinking about favorite rifles…and I thought, damn. It’s been quite a while since Bob and I went hunting.
Bob…or more accurately, The Bob…is a Remington M7MS Mannlicher full stock in .257 Roberts. Of course. It’s’ like an old friend…plenty of dings and scratches…fell down a very short distance down a hill once with it…A dozen deer, half dozen hogs…and it’s just that one rifle when, well, if I have to reach in and pull one rifle to deliver on a hunt without looking…Yeah. The Bob. But I haven’t done it in the past few years.

That pic was from 2009…that pig got hit right behind the ear with a 117 SGK over 43.0 grains of H4350. I haven’t changed that hunting load since.
So, Which Rifle is languishing in the safe but really deserves to get out and play a bit?
