Thank you! LaSalle is just north of me, about 10 minutes away. I'll hit 80 a couple exits west of there and start hauling ass for Wyoming. I'll try to get through Iowa without getting bored and Nebraska isn't much better! I should be able to make it to Cheyenne before I stop for the night. Caffeine and a subwoofer are my friends!

The scenery is great all the way across any of those states, it is the 24 Hour Dr. to get there that makes it hard to stay awake.

Made a pit stop to walk around a bit. 700 miles in. Nebraska pretty much sucks. Stopped for gas in Omaha and almost immediately came to a dead stop. Once I got through that nobody knew what the right lane was for! Speed limit is 75 and that was all we would do, if not slower. It took me all the way to Kearney to finally clear traffic and get back to 82. Another 100 miles until a gas stop and food. Onward!
