The MacKenzies - The Land that Time Forgot

What a wonderful tale, so artfully told. Thanks, Randy and Marcus, for bring us along.

Randy's photo essay of his first caribou/moose hunt a few years ago inspired me to strive to do the same. Surgury followed to correct a bum ankle, and then diet/exercise to loose 70 pounds and get into the shape to do this while nearing age 60. Now the real planning and saving begins to pull this off in the next 2 to 3 years.

THANKS RANDY for the inspiration.

Mark

Congratulations Randy on a great story, as usual, and a couple of great mountain caribou bulls!

And yes, that Palmer Lake camp and the mountains around it are a very special place.

While some have experienced the magic of the NWT, I bet very few can describe even to ourselves much less to others the way Randy story-tells and Marcus records a visual record the way the Mackenzie's make you feel when you are there. Excellent job to you and Marcus with this piece, and thank you again for all you do for what we call our "Mackenzie's" back home.
