I think I called it in post #20. Maybe not quite 380, but close enough! Great bull and very entertaining write up. Congrats!

I have measured it a few times now and it grosses just over 340 if I stretch the tape, closer to 338 if I shrink it. I want to leave some room for the next hunt so lets take the latter, 338.

I just finished processing the meat.Seems like lots. Curious so I'll try to weigh it this week. My god I have been going nonstop since before labor day. 11:50 on a Monday and just poured my 1st celebratory whiskey. Enjoying it on the sofa.

Just weighed the meat, I processed 230lbs of boneless meat, plus 46 lbs of ground dogfood trim ( I do trim pretty meticulously, so probably 1/2 that could have gone in my own burger grind if I wanted a little chewier mix. So I am confident I had 250 lbs of edible meat from this bull, plus 26 lbs of dirty, sinew, etc. I had already left the biggest chunky tallow layers in the field when I quartered. I never weighed my recovery before, did I do OK?

Lemme see,,,you went on a hunt. Killed a nice bull. Brought it home and put 250# meat in the freezer. I would say you did very good.
