The best dog EVER......

I had a Daisy. She was my first dog as an adult. We grew up together. At the end of her 16 year life she was a pirate dog; 3 legs, blind, deaf and salty. I knew I had to put her down when I had to carry her outside to potty and hold her up. If not, she’d just lay down. I wept on the floor of the veterinarian as she passed…

Without great love there’s no great pain. Without the acceptance of future great pain, there’s no great love.

God Bless

Daisy girl came home for good last night. Doc brought her, along with a nose print and paw print in clay. I can't say enough about Doc's compassion and care for out girl throughout her life. I am still a wreck.
I can still hear the different sounds of collar tags jingling from past dogs that I have had. It is hard when they go but it is what we sign up for when we start. Or so I tell myself. mtmuley

Bummer. Man I feel for you.
I will never get over Rio. I look at his pic on the wall and Dotti comes and licks my face.
Onward!
