While this one turned out to be a grizzly, my in-laws' neighbor was very severely mauled by the black bear that he was hunting.

Yes, were you very close to it? I walk all the time around here by myself and hope not to run into any bears.

It is interesting to read the thoughts of some that differ from us who spend lots of time in the woods observing animals. All I can do is shake my head in awe.
