T-Satellite - Any Experience?

Quick update on this.

Turns out I'm under contract with AT&T for 11 more months before my phone will be "unlocked". If I want to unlock it, I can pay $300, or I can just keep using my Zoleo until the phone is out of their payment thing. My phone bill shows the cost of the phone, but then shows a credit for the phone amount... So I don't pay for the phone, but if I want to unlock it, I need to pay for it... Next phone I'm ordering from Amazon unlocked so I don't have to deal with this kind of BS anymore.

Long story short, if you have a galaxy s23, you can get T-Satellite for $15/month, but I won't be messing around with it until next season.
Thanks for that.

I just got an S25.

I was thinking about the t mobile sat thing and actually was on the beta testing list for a while.

I declined the service in the end, which was no loss apparently.

Ill stick to my SPOT as well for the foreseeable future.

If you bought your phone outright, I would 100% do it. I just don't think it's worth paying off a "free" phone to get it. I'll end up replacing this phone with likely a s25 or s26 next year. Then I'll buy the phone outright from Amazon, save a few hundred bucks from the in store option, then I can add the second service to it for the satellite texting.

I have been running the Verizon satellite texting this year with a s25 and for my use it has been perfect. Where i hunt. My daughter is currently 28 miles in horseback and has been texting us with the same setup s25 verizon satellite. She took a zoleo as a backup and said the s25 seams to be working faster.

I had it for a month and got rid of it. Use the tmobile coverage chart to make sure its in your area before signing up.

Thats my beef with t mobile and why o wanted to stick with at&t but add the satellite feature. Which is possible!

With T-Mobile satellite, isn’t there a way to disable t-mobile satellite and use Apple satellite on IPhones?

Ok, but not great.
Could text, get weather and use OnX(very slow).
Would not connect during times of heavy cloud cover.
Would not connect if there was a hint of cell signal - even unusable cell signal.
For $10/month its ok. Would not be good for life or death situation.
