Finally some relief.
Rained hard when I was down in Reserve today. Watched it douse the Buzzard & Owl fires a bit.
Had 6 elk jump out on the road in front of me near the FS office. They bailed right as I stopped.
Maybe they will get some grass away from the roads now.
Been raining off & on since sunset here at home,smells like life outside now.
Rain chances good for near future & for season..............I hope.

I hope those get up here to CO ASAP. We had good pm rains the last 2 days, now forecast is pretty dry for next 5 days. I had mud on my boots instead of dust today, and there were puddles for the dog to drink.

Almost never a bad time for some rain. My son is down there right now on a fire crew. He tells me it is very dry.

Forecast had an 80% chance of rain today in the desert. Next few days are over 50%. It never rains here unless the forecast is 10% or less. Hopeful and praying, but not overly excited.

Happy to see the rain in the Gila. Was needed.

Some sections around Santa Fe received 1 to 2 inches or rain yesterday. It was needed.
