Hi all. I'm a 1st-time hunter who lives in Laramie, WY. My dad has been hunting in SE Wyoming since we all moved here 10 years ago, and I finally got the opportunity to join him for pronghorn season this year. So far no luck, but the season's not over yet!
Lets see... job-wise for now I'm a gig economy transporter (Doordash, Lyft, etc), though I am looking to get back into the field I went to school for, which is IT. Hobby-wise, if I'm not working or out hunting speedgoats with Dad you'll find me near the airport staring at planes and drooling, or else watching aviation videos on Youtube or Tiktok. Currently looking into the legal implications of using a powered paraglider to access landlocked/checkerboarded public land for hunting - I know you're not allowed to shoot or spot from an aircraft, but if I'm just using it for access it's a foolproof way to get into the backcountry! Solvable: getting back OUT with 100+ lbs of dead animal weighing you down.
