Sunday Pic of the Day

I’m breaking the Sunday Pic thread rules, and likely some hunting norms here…

Yesterday I took my daughter on her first hunt. We were helping my dad with a private land cow tag, which, amazingly, has a season that runs through the end of this month. ODFW is trying to reduce the herd in this unit, and things came together in a way that we were able to do our part.

It was really neat to see how into the whole experience my daughter was. She got right in there with me (as much as she could) when I was breaking the elk down. I think I might have a real hunting buddy coming along.

Super cool photo.
Feeding time? Looks like moving water.
My daughter and her cousin were feeding them leftover fries from lunch. My cousin suggested that one of the kids try to grab one.

My daughter’s response: “Here, hold my phone.”

Edit - @Hem, I didn’t fully answer your question. The carp were in a lake but they had the water rolling in a feeding frenzy.
