The newest fishing spot this weekend (based on some google earth searching during the week) turned out to have old gears/machinery in the ground. Need to see if this was an old mill or lock or industrial site - made for a great surprise as we broke out the fishing gear!

Went looking for swift fox this weekend. Found two dens with min of three pups on each, but too shy for decent pics. Here is a red that was more accommodating. Fun light.

First outing with a couple of the goats. Did about 5 miles with 30lbs and 25lbs on them. Gotta get them in shape before I really load them down. I was blown away by how well they packed and traveled with us. Very pleased with the boys.

I know folks are probably sick of seeing my house pics, but the light was amazing the other night. I had just finished grading the dirt around the house and planting some trees when a thunderstorm came through and settled the dirt. Views like this in June make up for some of the February winter weather.

On September 5 of last year our VFD had a tender on the State Creek Fire, and it took off. I remember looking at that smoke plume and thinking that I would like to be back in early summer for mushrooms.

As of today there has been no reveg.
