NHY,

The Plaza in Santa Fe, had to be early morning 6 am. There are usually venders all over the place,

And the oldest church in the US with the no nails circular stairs?

The east facing portal in front of the IAIA Museum & St Francis Cathedral across the street...yes, early morning. The artists that usually line the Palace of Governors portal on the north side of the Plaza have not returned yet.

Crappies played nice again today. We caught over 100 fish and only kept them over 9”
Best day of fishing I’ve ever had.

i'm just not sure there will ever be a type of fishing i love more than hiking to ponds and creeks well off the beaten path for hungry brookies.

Sunshine and shadows after a couple days of cold rain. rain that was much needed !

We had a 2-day cold snap, below freezing at night.
Killed the squash in the garden,but peas and broccoli did fine.
Had to move the potted tomatoes inside.
At least the cold snap will knock back the mosquitoes for a few days.

A day I won’t soon forget. The emotions I had after getting promoted to the rank of Fire Captain are tough to explain. I don’t for a second take all the credit for getting to this point. I’ve had so much help along the way. The sense of pride I feel looking at this picture almost brings me to tears. I can only pray my little girl still looks at me like this forever. I’m a blessed fella, what a great weekend.
