Sunday Pic of the Day

The hike is over , 5.3 miles in 2.5 hours , 8 blacktails in 2 groups of 4. No elk , not even an old track but the bonus was one buck shed ! And we captured a logger on the trailcam ! Ha ha ha

a little snow is still up high, the remains of an epic coast range snowstorm , 2 weeks ago Everything we hiked today was under a foot of snow

in the above picture the mud road on the right drops into the timber separating the 2 clear cuts and it’s there we found the shed, as the mud road came out in the next cut , John walked past it and missed it

View attachment 176187my boy tracker found his first elk horn. Safe to say he was a bit excited. He started ripping around just lost all control . He got so excited he started to air hump whole trying to run. His body didn't know what to do. The joys of having a lab pup.
