!st time elk hunt in colo. where to go?

This will bne my first time to elk hunt in colo. which unit should we apply for? we are non residents so any info is welcomed.....

You need to give a lot more information before anyone can even begin to help you. How many PPs do you have? Do you want to hunt bow, rifle, or ML? Which of the 4 seasons do you want to hunt? Are you looking for a bull or cow hunt? Do you want a town hunt or camp out somewhere? Those are just a few of the things you need to figure out yourself for anyone familiar with CO to then give you some help.

we have no pps, using rifle ,be hunting 1st rifle season,we want to hunt bulls if possible,Maybe a town hunt or a camp hunt havent decided

Easy access or hiking? Big bulls or will any bull do?

Hiking, a big bull would be great but for the 1st time any legal bull would suffice

I think with no pps is 1st season rifle elk in unit 41 good elk #s easy draw and also takes in multiple units. I am going to have camps out there 1st and 2nd season. My # is on the web site call me for more info. campwithacook.com
