Well, I guess its a good price for such a bear. I saw 10 of them within rifle range on a canoe trip north of Dillingham a few years ago. It bugs me, I'd have to pay so much to shoot one after that experience. Unless I had the money, then I could spend it on a big bear. Good luck on getting the big one!

lets talk bear then..the hunt i posted in this thread we took a nine foot two inch grizz and a six foot black bear, passed on a few smaller black bears and several smaller grizz as well.
