Was a busy 10 days of spring beaver trapping. The dispersion started late on the creeks. Usually they go as soon as ice is off but this year they waited till about April 25-30. A normal year we will have ten days or two weeks of dispersion where a guy can stack up the two year olds. Also in a perfect year you hit the creeks up and as the dispersions slows the ice comes off the sloughs so you move into that. This year dispersion was late and it timed perfect with ice coming off the sloughs. Made it hard to cover all the spots I would have liked to with 16 330’s only. Anyways In 9 or 10 days managed to get 40 beavers. Would have had a few more if I had been off work for more then a couple days as then I could check traps in the morning, skin in the afternoon and shoot in the evening. Now onto bears and fleshing beavers unfortunately lol
