Caribou Gear Tarp

Sow bears and boo boos - let's see them.

The Go Hunt boys dusted some cubs last year, and I mean some straight up 65 lb. rug rats.
We had an f'n hay day on their IG comment section.

Serious question, if one of the baby bears they shot was a sow, and it was with another cub,
is that considered shooting a sow with cubs? šŸ¤£

Donā€™t forget about taking advantage of any handy stump! Because this was my first opportunity at a bear of color, I just couldnā€™t resist. šŸ˜€.

BTW - as this mid-80s photo shows, I was a pioneer in the use of the MSR for hunting. I wish I still had that rifle.

You were completely ready to mow down a whole herd of colorful cubs.

First bear. Yep, when I walked up, I said oh my really?!?!? Itā€™s all good though. Though it may not ā€œfill the freezerā€ it will make for some amazing grub. Thatā€™s only one, and as I see it, our ā€œvet forum posterā€ which sets the standards, is at least 3 ahead of me. Look out dinks!!!!! Here I come!!!! Hahaha.

Never actually killed a bear myself, but I've "guided" alot of people to bears here, around home. My family has killed 3 sows over 300 pounds (330,311,307) only have pics of one. Wife's sow was 187, my dad's 137, last critter he ever killed. Probably half a dozen others in the 100- 225 pound range killed off my baits or by family members. Can't find the pictures of them20220526_200245.jpgScreenshot_20220526-200621_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20220526-202054_Facebook.jpg

Next up. Mule deer ground shrinkage, is it really a thing?
Yes it is very real but not just mule deer but every species I have ever hunted suffers from ground shrinkage. Just don't ask for pics to prove it please.
