Assuming you're talking the brook trout, yeah it's part of the Ritter Range. It's the southern edge of the Minarets viewed from Deadhorse lake (which is quite the secret and almost nobody goes to that lake in particular, especially compared to some others in the area) and is actually my favorite in the entire Sierras so far). I wouldn't usually throw its name on the internet but it's a 14 mile hike and requires a permit to camp so I don't think it's in much danger haha But that entire area, Iceberg, Cecile, Minaret, thousand island, garnet etc. are all incredible.
The cutthroat was actually only about 25 miles from there also. Eastern Sierras are a special place.
Yeah she's at Lockheed already and is constantly getting recruiters messages trying to get her to move
And yessir. Oil and gas in Eddy. That's still the industry I'm in, and part of the reason that dealing with CA regulation is especially egregious...
We would have probably moved already, but know that when we do leave, we almost certainly won't be coming back. I'm currently doing an MBA and we have a few more things we'd like to do in the state and then we will probably start looking more seriously.
