I love those birds and I love hunting them in big sagebrush country. Think I might get 2-3 taxi'd next year in a display. Very nice!

In SD there has not been a season since 2012, this year it was a drawing for 40 permits my friend I was lucky enough to draw permits. Out of 40 permits there was 10 birds taken in the 2 day season, 2 adults 2 yearlings and 6 young of the year. Of the 10 only 2 were males.

On my bucket list to do before we can no longer. I have been trying to plan a hunt with my dad to get one. Anyone hunt them regularly and willing to help a couple of guys out? I would just like to harvest one of them before it is too late. We can no longer hunt them in ND and I do not see there being a season anytime soon if ever again.
