I'm not a very good story teller but.... Finally I've been able to concur one hunt on my bucket list.... After a good two mile walk and a lot of candy bars, we finally spotted this bruiser taking a nap in between two pasture. He was laying in the taller grass that the cattle couldn't get to and with him was a doe and to the west of them was another buck ...After spotting him we made dang sure we knew exactly where he was laying on all the devices so we didnt have to keep looking over the high spots too look for him. We slid back off the top of the hill and made our way around the hill and ended up getting lucky to find a nice rock pile 64 yards from him... As soon as we got all settled down into our spot the wind started too pick up and swirled right too him.. He started walking down the fence line right to us.. Only to come as close as 50 yards and then started to get nervous and as soon as he turned around I pull the bow back and let a arrow fly.. Seeing him run over the hill with an arrow in him was one of the best feelings....

That's a hoss! That's also an accomplishment to slip to within bow range on a whitetail like that! Nicely done!
