My son and I were coyote hunting a few weeks ago. We called in two. No shot at one and missed the other because dad passed up a good shot while waiting for the coyote to come closer. Well, we were winded and I missed three times on the run!
That evening my son and I put the "stalk" on a couple of cottontails and were outsmarted. Finally, we got close to one and my son used his single shot .22 to put down his trophy. He was so proud I thought he was going to burst. He called grand parents and friends on the drive home to let them know about his accomplishment. He now has his sights set on a turkey in the near future. Dang this is fun!
