I keep telling myself I live in the sunny South, but it's currently 8 degrees warmer in Calgary, Alberta than it is here right now. Supposed to get down to 32 Sunday morning, so it will no doubt put a damper on turkey hunting until things warm up.

Tarheel, I just keep telling myself to enjoy the coolness while it lasts. You know that we normally get a two week spring, then it's blazing hot and humid.
I think the turkey opener will be fine Saturday. At least I hope anyway!

Are you gonna post pics of you in a union suit? :D

Being a Southerner Suh, that word "union" is destined to never cross my lips. :) No John, I don't mind the cooler temps but all the azalea bushes are in full bloom and I'm running out of spare bedsheets with which to cover them from the possibility of frost.

I think I'm going to give them a pass on opening day. My best buddy and first cousin, a decorated Vietnam vet is in his final days, another Agent Orange casualty, and we're all on tenderhooks right now not knowing how long he'll be with us so with that being my main consideration right now the turkeys will just have to wait.
