Solo Hunters: Keeping Entertained at Camp Solo Hunting?

If you are board get horses Nov and Dec are the only time you'll get any sleep.
Em's December muzzleloader hunt backwards math daylight at 8:00am - 1.5 hrs ride in= leave camp at 6:00 just in case, = start saddling at 5:15, =feed horses at 4am so they have an hr to eat.
= We rise at 4am.
Forward math. Dark at 5:00pm ride 1.5 hrs out =6:30, pull saddles/water .5hr =7:00, feed horses/cook dinner. 1.5hrs =8:30 tie short/brush teeth .5hr =
In bed around 9pm
Total of about 7hrs of sleep if everything goes well but it seldom does.

You couldn't be more accurate!
 
Depends on the hunt, but a typical solo elk hunt in October I'll have a base camp. I'll generally throw on a podcast while cooking dinner and have a good dose of red wine. I hit the hay shortly thereafter with a book.
