While watching tv w the wife last night, she went to the window n got all excited, I asked what was going on n she said it was snowing!! I said yeah rt, it’s San Antonio, it doesn’t snow here. Low n behold it was n not just flurries, it was actually coming down. So that made up my mind; hunting in the morning.
Bucks were running does all over the place. Saw this guy pushing a doe down the fence line, looked like a good 8 that probably needed to be taken out of the herd. After I got up to him I wasn’t disappointed; old n ugly, teeth well worn down, guessing 7+.

Nice buck! I have some friends in Johnson city that were sending me pictures of the snow. Not very often you get a snowy buck picture down there!

Nice. Did yo shoot it or did it freeze to death?

Balmy 50 on the Canada line and no white to be seen.

And to think some people still think climate change it not happening :)

Congratulations! Killing a deer in snow is on my hunting bucket list. I think it was a goal of every hunter in Texas and Louisiana this weekend.

Coming from a northerner, that is strange thing to hear, but kinda' neat.
After shooting an antelope at 93f, can't say I want to trade hunting grounds:)
