For those of you who don't know, it's the only permitted river float in Montana.
Anyway, I drew a permit for this Friday, June 8. Was going to take the Boy Scout Troop I help out with, but they're out. My wife and 2 yr. old daughter we're going to come, but looks like we may get a few showers this weekend, so they're wussin out too.
Water levels look good and it's about time for some Salmon Flies to come off. There are some people from my office going, but I have some extra space and am still a solo. Looking for guy that knows how to row to fish along with me. If anyone is interested, or just wants to jump on the permit and do your own thing, let me know.
Also, this is the first time I've floated the Smith, so any fishing pointers would be appreciated.
