Silencers & NFA Trusts

Right, with the $200 tax stamp going away does anyone have a handle on what transferring private party silencers into an NFA Trust is going to look like? I have a Trust…with one silencer in it…and another silencer that is in my name only. I’d like to movie that into the trust. Formerly it was about spending another $200 on a fresh tax stamp but now?

Form 5 is a tax free transfer.

I think that covers what you want to do anyway, or to family members upon your death.

Currently it is a form 4 to transfer a privately held NFA item to a trust.

I assume its going to be the same process without a $200 Fee.

I might do the same, add my dad and wife to my trust and move all my cans NFA approved to an individual into it.
