Shotgun choke installation

My wife and I bought shotguns for turkey hunting, but ol' Covid and my wife's broken leg put the kibash on that. One of the shotguns needs to have choke tubes installed, as it is a modified barrel. We just set that project aside since we weren't going anywhere till fall, then of course couldn't find ammo...my life...LOL!

Any recommendations for where we would get said screw-in chokes installed on a 20 ga Rem 1100? Spring turkey will sneak up on me if I don't get after it pretty quick.

I purchased a rem choke barrel for my 1100 years ago. Probably cheaper than having your barrel reworked. Might check MidwayUSA

I may have spoken to soon. I looked online and they are either sold out or discounted. Might look at eBay

I've had Steve at Rose Action Sports cut and thread or just thread over 20 shotguns, and been extremely happy with every one.

This^^^. Mike threaded an old Beretta barrel for me and did a great job. Reasonable prices, quick turnaround. If you go this route, I would recommend getting Trulock Tru-chokes.

Mike Orlen reamed out the chokes on my Sauer. His turnaround time was excellent.
