The dogs just don't want to go for a walk this morning. The bride is unpacking the long sleeve shirts just in case the temperature dips a little lower.
Wind chill of -53 makes the berries pucker painfully....

Ha, we had 41 below yesterday, and right now at 7:35 it's 45 below. It will get colder here in the next hour or so. Went out and cut firewood yesterday, think I'll sit by the fire and reload ammo today! There is no wind at all and you can hear the cottonwoods popping and cracking down by the river.

Twodot, I think you are always the coldest spot in MT.

I think you are right, seriously. Something about being right here below that UL Bend that makes it a cold hole. You can always take the temp at Winnett, and we will be 10 - 15 degrees colder here. If you drive up the hill out of the river bottom, you gain about 8 degrees just from the elevation change.
Not as noticeable in the summer, but always cooler then too.
