This is one of the seasons where a lot of things went our way. So many remarkable hunts that year, it is hard to list them all, but here are a few of my favorites.

Archery elk in MT, where we nearly froze our stones off sleeping on the mountain with no warm clothes, only to kill a bull at last light; my best archery bull ever.

Wolf hunting with Crittergetter. The first wolf hunt filmed in the Lower 48 and the reason I still get a lot of death wishes from the wingnut and screwball fraternity.

The two-part wolf episode is my favorite from all 7 seasons and I've seen it many times. A diy wolf hunt in the lower 48 is no small task. It still amazes me when it all comes together and success is reached in spite of the low odds. I would love to see another wolf episode!!

That elk hunt.......the excitement, emotion and intensity. I was on the edge when the bull bugles so close shortly before you killed him. And I know you were breathing a huge sigh of relief when he died on this side of the fence. Great hunt and video for sure!!
