saving private k9

[duckhunt]

I just watched a show on the sportsmans channel called saving private k9. I did not realize that the military used dogs as much as they do. The episode I just watched was about a marine and his dog in Afghanistan. They both were injured by a bomb. Very interesting story. I have a dog that is my best friend. But this story really makes me look at that in a totally different perspective.

I know we have always felt better when we have had dogs with us on target. A well trained MWD is worth the world. My favs are the Dutch Shepherds.
