Sask muzzleloader antelope

It’s been a long time since I hunted these guys probably 12-13 years. After lunch we stumbled into a herd of around 30 antelope with about 10 bucks in the herd. This guy fit the bill and was down shortly after. I had one slightly bigger one escape me this morning. Probably seen around 100 antelope today. Can’t wait to do it again!

Thanks I am taking advantage of the draw God’s this year. Still have a either sec mulie buck tag. I’ll save that hunt for the last few days of season. November 9-14 with my 300 mag. IMO that’s the best time for a big one. Also going to give OTC moose a try next week as well. Start trying to learn how to hunt that tag

The population has been dropping the last few years due to some reasons. The season is short and bulls only. It’s October 15-19 and then opens again November 20-24. It’s all bush hunting or clear cuts. Most guys hunt clear cuts.
