On holiday with the family after a 2000km drive to queensland from Melbourne. Decided to try our luck in the local waterways, grabbed the boys and stopped at a bridge just before our hotel and we walked down to the pylons and chucked out their rods with prawns. Didn't take long and the bites started and we pulled in all sorts, flathead, brim, whiting, some spotty thing etc. Pack of prawns were empty after an hour and a half and we came home with one good size flatty to eat
