Sad boots

Anybody else have a hard time letting boots go? These last pair of crispis I’ve put hundreds of miles on and several different states. I babied them through the late season but the tread is nearly gone now. Always tough on me letting a pair of boots go every few years. These were the valdres, but they have discontinued them and replaced them with the valdres II. Haven’t decided for sure which ones I will be buying this year.

Those are in much better shape than the pair of Hanwags I just threw away.

You can probably get them resoled if they have that much sentimental value to you

Haha! This is after a fresh dose of leather lotion and mink oil. Not so much sentimental about them, just neat to think about all the cool places they took me

New keens are 150, as long as I get 2 seasons out of them, I'm happy. Best fitting boot for my weird feet that I've ever found.

Hang on to them and use them for work around home.
