Not a regular JRE listener, but i do tune in for a guest i want to hear from. I thought it was a pretty good episode - with significant credit being delivered where it is due right at 1:42:30 😁.

Anyway - i enjoyed this one, hope others do too. I wish it had come out about 1 month earlier, but im sure scheduling is challenging.

Never heard of Ryan, but I enjoyed the interview and respected his opinion on the subject and it resonated with me. Most of us us share this common core value of public land. Yes he and Joe did mention Randy and the hard work they have done. It was nice to hear his name outside of the fresh tracks/ hunt talk format. These guys are really making a difference and it doesnt go unnoticed Thank you Randy @Big Fin and team... Kudos.

I'll add that Joe was a staunch supporter of our public lands being left alone. Love him or hate him..It was a favorable interview toward the current issues.
Him, and others like him, hosting conversations like these is very important.

The talk of selling public lands ended (for now) - but it would be good use of the momentum to pivot to mismanagement and poor prioritization while the conversation is flowing. Folks are engaged now - and in my opinion itd be a missed opportunity to for the conversation to die at sale and never mature into responsible stewardship.

I bet if people found out how much we subsidize the various commercial industries that use public land - things could change.
