Ruger SR22.

Best .22 pistol right now believe it or not is the Taurus TX22. It's a winner. I have heard mixed on the ruger, just like the sig mosquito and other semi autos.

Had an SR22 for years, ran great. Traded it in on a Ruger Mark III that I hated, it was a big mistake. The Mark III was replaced by a Taurus TX22 and it’s as reliable as the SR22 was. Either of those two are great budget options

When the SR22’s came out I thought they were the ticket. But I think the Taurus TX22 has the Ruger beat. Look up some videos of how well they run with a FRT.

Bought one for my wife years ago when they first came out. Shot fine for me, but she had lots of cycle issues with it because she didn’t grip it tight enough. I preferred my M&P.

I have had one for a while. My first test with a .22 is see how long she will fire dirty. Mine went 500 plus before I couldn't take it any longer. I don't think I have ever had a jam is the 7 plus years i have had one with thousands of rounds fired.

I am acquiring this pistol from a brother in law that will be experiencing some restrictive living arrangements for awhile. At under 1/4 what they retail for, I'll take a chance. mtmuley
Perfect. I was hoping you would get into it really cheaply. Hopefully you got one that runs good. If not you won’t have trouble getting money back out of it. I’d do the same thing
