Best .22 pistol right now believe it or not is the Taurus TX22. It's a winner. I have heard mixed on the ruger, just like the sig mosquito and other semi autos.

Had an SR22 for years, ran great. Traded it in on a Ruger Mark III that I hated, it was a big mistake. The Mark III was replaced by a Taurus TX22 and it’s as reliable as the SR22 was. Either of those two are great budget options

Ive shot one but i like my mark iv better.... something about aluminum slide doesnt sit well

I inherited a SR22 from my Wife's Father. I like it well enough but my Ruger Standard is more accurate.
