Here's some of the text.

Effective immediately, Ruger is ceasing production of its LCR, SP101, GP100 and Bearcat revolvers. The company plans to complete its final production runs of the following models for 2026: SR1911, LC Carbine, PC Charger, PC Carbine, LC Charger, Redhawk, Super Redhawk, Blackhawk, Super Blackhawk, Single-Series revolvers, Vaquero, No. 1, 77-Series rifles, Hawkeye and Ruger Precision Rifle.

Dang the Ruger Redhawk 44 mag, 5.5" barrel, is one of the best looking revolvers to me. At least I will be able to find it used down the road. IMG_1220.jpeg

Bummer. Surprised about the Redhawks - they seemed pretty popular.

I’ve got 2 Rugers. An SR45 that I’d sell in a heartbeat since all of my semi-autos are now M&P’s. And a Single Six revolver with cylinders for both 22LR and 22WMR that was my dad’s that I’ll never part with.

They went down a dark path when they started putting those god awful accutriggers in everything. It turned a lot of people off because they felt a bit to "savagey".

I own a couple of All Weather 77/22's, a 10/22, and an early 1980's Security Six (Stainless 4").

I used to be heavily into M77's and M77 MkII's but switched over the Winchester M70's in the early 90's with the advent of their CRF offerings, then later to Kimber's in the early 2000's with their CRF offerings.

While a bit rough, Ruger investment cast rifles are incredibly rugged, and if I lived off the land in the sub arctic I'd probably want a Stainless 30-06 or 308. But I don't :)

That’s too bad, I really liked their revolvers and the old 77s. I have a 77 tang safety, GP100, super blackhawk and single six. Pour one out for the good old Rugers.
